I went to Pala once to check it out. At the time DDB was 8/5 on $1 machines. Never have been back since I can play 9/6 at Pechanga. Did you happen to see if Pala is still 8/5 on DDB?
Pala has great games at $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, & $25 coin denominations in the high limit and just outside the poker room (on the main floor) passed where to stage is to the right.🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
Yep, Harrah’s SoCal has horrible VP pay tables in the high limit. I always joke around that it is evil in there.

Just came back from Laughlin myself, had excellent luck at the River Lodge. Very clean casino compared to the others there. Pala, Pauma, Rincon, Valley View and Pechanga are my old stomping grounds. Never won at any of them. Saw some people get robbed on HWY 76 after winning big $$ at Pala. The whole area is a tweekers paradise.
