Bonus Poker SUCKS. Don’t know why you like it, and don’t say it’s less volatile, because I see you lose on it constantly.
I have been saying this for a few years now. Bonus poker your short changing yourself. 125 for quads instead of 250
@J P Vegas Not to mention how much more ACEs and 2,3,4’s with kickers pay!
Right 2000 for Aces with kicker
Few years back I hit 7 royals in a matter of 4 months. 1.00 and 2.00 denominations on double bonus. Mind you didn’t play 5 days a week either. Then after that hit a brick wall. I could tell you I sometimes hit quads on a machine 3 or 4 times. Then dumped all my winning back in and ended up with zero.
@J P Vegas Nobody comes out ahead gambling in the long run. NOBODY.
I accidentally hit the dislike, sorry. The cat was walking over the screen. I removed it immediately. Hope it is not a ptoblem. Love your channel!
Time to move off of Bonus Poker. As you see very few four of a kind. Double Double is where it’s at.
The more the Bonus the higher the Volatile. I only play 9/6 99.54% Jacks or Better because of the Low Volatility.
Every game will have it’s positives and negatives. Yes, aces with kicker on BP will only give 400 coins instead of 2,000 on DDB, but it’s a rare hand. Two pair is very common though and getting paid 2 to 1 instead of 1 to 1 adds up very quickly. But I can say, really frustrating to have sessions of hitting big quads on JOB and BP that make me wonder the whole volatility thing. Just to add, I’m really starting to like bonus poker deluxe, which is sort of a compromise, in which 2 pair is 1 to 1, but….every quad no matter what quad is 400 coins…and starting to shy away from the frustration of 125 coins for a quad.
Oh, the suspense! Love your videos. 😊
Keep at it. A nice fatty is coming. It’s mathematically inevitable! 😎
What happened to all of your crazy wins?
Thank you Andrew, good entertainment!
So every time I see you play Joker poker the jackpot is the royal flush. At my casino it is the 5 of a kind. Is my casino doing it wrong?
Does anyone in these comments even understand expected return? 8/5 BP has an expected return of just under 99.2% Other games, obviously, have different returns. But simply playing a game that pays 250 for 5555 – KKKK simply isn’t the answer. 10/7 DB offers an expected return of 100.17% In that case, it is vastly superior to BP, but most casinos that offer it will give you no comps or freeplay on that game. I can name several casinos where you can play that game and have an expected win per hour of about $5 if you play perfectly. Such games are of no value aside from entertainment and free drinks For this reason, simply finding the best expected return is not really the right approach, but expected return must be properly accounted for.
A game like 9/6 DDB has an expected return of roughly 98.9%. Therefore, 9/6 DDB is a worse game DESPITE the fact that it pays 250 or more for quads. That assumes that you are comparing the two games with no freeplay and comps. In many occasions, both games can be found and both receive the same benefits. In that case, BP remains far superior to DDB. A difference of 0.3% sounds tiny, but if you play dollars at 800 hands per hour, it is a $12 per hour difference. Since it is very hard to find plays worth even $20 an hour now, that is a huge difference.
With a return of only 99.2%, BP is, of course, a losing game. However, since casinos offer comps, free play and promotions to players, the overall expected return can be over 100%. Figuring out when this is the case is the only way to make money playing VP. In some casinos, the ONLY game where the combination is well over 100% requires one to play Bonus Poker because it is often the best game in the house that gets any form of free play or comps.
We watch to be entertained not be schooled by you
I like your explanation, but don’t forget about the poker Gods too.
I gave you a dislike because credit button to show cash And your camera works sucks on this video

Well he has enough of it anyway
Whats up my guy?! Hope to see you at G2E!
Let’s goooooo !
You are wasting a lot of time recording 3 to a Royal draws. Odds are about 1 in 1,100. Better to record every pair in hopes of hitting quads. That is only 1 in 360.
The main bar at the Downtown Grand has 8/5 bonus poker .25 —-> $2 friendly bartenders my new favorite bar to play downtown.
Andrew, the wife and I really like your content. Watch all of your videos without fail. We sometimes get confused with your selection of games/ pay tables which appear to us VP novices to be poor choices. Could you maybe explain during play your reasoning, for educational purposes only, of selecting a 7/5 pay table game versus let”s say 8/5 or 9/5 paytable game?
You’ve got balls playing that Joker Poker, Slotmassacre! I can’t wait for the day that we all get to go back East to hit Atlantic City together and check out the Joker Poker scene there! I enjoy the organic quality of your videos!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
john, do you guys have any plans to go to a.c this year. I go there often and play a lot of vp there.
@Black Dragon Originally, Slotmassacre & I, had wanted to hit, Atlantic City, with the Bigkats crew earlier this year; but we just couldn’t swing it. Unless, something unforeseen overrides our plans, (either one or both of us), expect to hit Atlantic City sometime next year. Before the pandemic, I used to take may entire family to Manhattan & Atlantic City every 2 years on our trips back to the East Coast. I’ll keep everyone posted on that next year as the time draws near. I look forward to meeting the locals in the A.C. casino market and playing some video poker with you all. Stay in touch!
Sounds good!
How about a nine-month tally?
Gives us a perspective, good or bad.
That said, you provide great video.
At 8:06 I was ready to type but you, as Jeremy says, you already know. LOL
