Couple years ago during my first Vegas trip, a shady guy approached me and asked if I wanted to win a jackpot. I said sure, so he proceeded to monkey around by switching a button behind the machine (or so he says), pressing the spin the button 2-3 times, all while having the handle stuck at half cocked.
He told me that I should get a jackpot within 10-15 minutes and he wants half. I won a jackpot 30 minutes later. He came around demanding half. I told him I wasn’t born yesterday and will call security. He walked away pretty quick. I won a couple jackpots later on other machines without any finagling.
