So, we lived at South Lake Tahoe for 33 years. We actually lived on the Nevada side, which is Stateline, Nevada. Something that we learned was that the slots paid better and more often at the neighborhood casinos than at the big casinos at Lake Tahoe that everybody took the tour buses from Sacramento and San Francisco to play. Many times, we would go down to Carson City, a 25-minute drive, and play at the Carson Nugget, or the Casino Fandango (my favorite), or even Cactus Jack’s, a really small neighborhood casino. The reason they pay better is because neighborhood casinos in the smaller towns really depend on the locals coming in to play the slots, and if the locals don’t win as often, they won’t come in all the time, and the casinos will close. We used to see people we knew every week in those casinos, which have all the new games and all the casino players club cards that give you discounts at their restaurants as the bigger casinos at Lake Tahoe have. And it is not a myth that you win more at those casinos. Casinos can set the payout odds on all of their machines anytime they want. So, even if you guys don’t take advantage of the neighborhood casinos, I hope some of your viewers do. You can play longer and have more fun when the machines are looser! Love your videos, as always!
