I think he gave up on flop and turn because on the J 9 8 board he will get called by so many hands. But then on the Ace river, that changes things because now he can get better pairs to fold.

the players need to be deep for there to be more ways to play the hands and you need to let them straddle. hands play themselves when you are not super deep. if you had a 300k stack you’d have 50 bigs. starts to play like a tournament hand. 4 bets become a shove depending on stack size, less post flop play, etc. it sounds like they’re working on a single or MT tournament with nosebleed stakes. could be a lot of fun, more of that kind of gambling that some are looking for.
I liked Tony G more when he was heavier with real teeth.
31:00 brandon losing the absolute minimum. he’s a very unique player. got a real feel for the game. he absolutely crushes at HCL, up close to a quarter of a million per session.
He knows he’s only getting called by better if he shoves…there’s no point

@Alex you wouldn’t shove the turn, you could raise for thin value from combo draws [ace ten with a backdoor turns a nut flush draw, ace jack clubs which brandon doesn’t block, i won’t list all of them but they are there] ace king. he’s got a hell of a hand and he looks like his dog just died when the queen comes. he’s always been very much an intuitive player and keating looks like he feels a little face up here.
