As for your statement, even Daniel would disagree. There are a few poker players who may be better and there are several that have had better results over the last few years.
What you meant to say is “I love Daniel and i get into my feelies over him. whaaaaaa!” 😭
@@MikeBesk I think Daniel hoped that his opponent didnt have straight and would be scared of bluffing straight. In the end he felt his opponent did have a good hand when he raised to 250k, and his 2 pairs weren’t good enough to contest it.

There’s no doubt that he saw monsters under his bed, so to speak. Maybe he was right, maybe not.
I love that he posts these videos and gives us insight into his mind but I’m not sure there’s a poker player more well known than Negreanu and it can’t help but hurt his game in the long run. If I’m in a pot against him in as similar spot, I’ll know he’d fold a big hand if I can sensibly represent the nuts.
I don’t think there’s a good poker player out there that wouldn’t play that pot the same way against Daniel when he just calls preflop.
