@@heindattel3919computer hand because no one after studying poker theory would play Q7o cause is just a Q with a low kicker and no straight, no flush, however the computer says its ok to play with that

@@heindattel3919On a solver, it is worst Q that it tells you to open from the SB when everyone else folds around to you because people have such a wide calling range on the BB. It’s basically the worst hand to open from the SB that is still considered profitable by a computer that assumes you also play GTO post flop.
When up against a random hand, meaning any two random cards , it is ahead of just over 50% of hands. For example , it’s ahead of Q6, Q5, etc.. it’s technically ahead of 50+% of random 2 card combos
So for example , if someone went “All In” blind preflop, Q7 is ahead of most random hands

Our home game calls it the “computer virus” Only one I think we see played more than that is J-4 suited, its called the Robbie as one of our friends won a HUGE quadrupole all in at our casino trip!
In Bristol, we call it the “Jimmy Jackson”.
That subtitles animation is a pain to watch.
Q7o is a mandatory shove being short. It gets more marginal with stuff like Q4o, J6o, 54s whereas T4o is the theoretical break-even boarderline hand against a 100% range at 13bb effective stack.
I’ve lost so much too and with Q7 😅
Q8 is the computer hand, not Q7.
We call that the Mike Ross because that’s my dads name and one night when we were all playing, he got Q7 and just said “alright Queen Seven” out loud on accident and no one believed him
