This actually made the stream 10x more interesting with Lynne and Hilary going after Sashimi. Hilary made a good comeback though and was up like 30k at the end.

It is never inappropriate to call the floor to get a ruling. It is also not a “home game” in any way. It is a private game dealt and overseen by a licensed and government-regulated casino. The fact that a video production company appears to run the show, does not mean they control the rules of the game. The casino does, and poker has rules in a casino. HCL management and announcers don’t seem to understand that, except when they’re facing possible liability such as for encouraging Robbi to negotiate with Garrett to modify the results of who was awarded the J4 pot. Then they say it’s between the players and casino, and HCL is just an innocent fly on the wall.
Trying to shame anyone, including Sashimi, for asking the floor to enforce the rules of poker, is ridiculous.

One of the perks is that they’re playing live stream.. That means that rules should be held according to the standard poker rules, otherwise risk being judged by the audience.
Everyone came to the game with the knowledge that these rules will be enforced.. If these rules are bendable, then players might as well not play since players can exploit such rules to their advantage, and angle-shootings will be the norm..
The person mansplaining this video is in the wrong for trying to guilt-trip Sashimi for exercising her right.
