  1. I’m surprised that the dealer isn’t required to confirm that any deal has occurred as it is the house that’s holding the cash.

    1. The casino and dealer are NOT involved in a “lasts longer in the tournament” bet. It is gamblers being gamblers, between themselves.

  2. Kept getting distracted by the 138 on the right side when it is supposedly podcast 139… side bet that nobody notices from the Pod this week 😛

  3. Beriuzy is a pro poker player and a pretty good one. He’s also very funny and has a YT channel

  4. The only thing I would add to the ruling on the last longer is, the organiser should NEVER pay anyone other than the winner. It’s up to the winner to pay any chop money.

    1. @@dnegspoker I can’t seem to find anything online about where this all started? Is there something on twitter or a video? At least let me know which tournament you were playing in lol Please!

    2. Darren Stribling – I agree, side action/agreements are not the responsibility of any parties not explicitly agreed upon.

  5. No way in the world are the words “we could” remotely near saying yes and the fact that he was distracted as he was in the middle of a hand anywhere near Daniels fault.

    1. ‘could’ by semantic definition means there are conditions and qualifications that follow. It implies a ‘but’ right after. We could, we should, we will…all mean different things. I agree. I don’t think this was Daniel’s fault.

  6. The entire game Persson respected every raise or reraise of Antonius, folding small trashy hands and Antonius knew that ,that’s why Antonius was pretty fast and confident with his call…nevertheless the hand looks very fishy that can raise some suspicions

  7. The part that some people may not realize is that Persson can afford to do crazy stuff…!!! Persson is a Casino owner, which basically means he is playing with the money the fools are giving him at the table games at his Casinos…!!!

  8. Hellmuth on HSP season 6, and then those LA cash games, that’s my Hellmuth

  9. I was looking for a documentary on the origin and history of poker and the WSOP….. Found nothing …
Wouldn’t it be interesting to have Daniel make one ? Just saying 😂

  10. Is there some WSOP rule that a re-entry has to be processed at the cage? By now most realize that the re-entry allows the house to rake the admin fee vs the old rebuy at the table process. But if there is no rule or if the rule can be changed why not eliminate the potential logjam of cage buy ins and re-entries by allowing the re-entries at the table? House still takes their admin fee and the game continues. And you wouldn’t have to rebalance the table due to a bust out that caused the table to have too few players. Anyone with any knowledge on this please chime in.

  11. Great podcast!

Side note, something sounds funny with everyone’s voices. Anyone else noticed this? I noticed this on a zoom call of mine as well

    1. Second episode in a row…hopefully it gets fixed..Can hardly tell Terence and Adam apart at times when listening on podcast services, weirdly!

    2. @@RobOConnor108 – Sounds like some variability in audio speed likely caused by internet connection.

  12. Can someone correct me if I’m wrong .. I thought if you were going to raise you had to at least double the bet so when persson raised to 140, how come Antonius didn’t have to at least put in 280?

    1. Antonius first raised to 40, so the raise to 140 is only a 100 raise. So Antonius could raise to 240.
