Really think JR needs to call here. Other than quads or 10 9, I really don’t know what rampage is repping here. The value hands he would raise on the flop would be a set of 9s, set of 6s, set of 10s, 10 9, or a straight. When the board double pairs, that limits his only value hands to either quads or 10 9, which is very unlikely with jr having a ten, and is also also repping a set of tens. That is 2 quad combos, one set of 10 combo (jrs ten blocker) and then 10 9 for value. Rampage would never bet a straight here for value and would also not bet an over pair for that much value in this spot. With rampage have that few of value hands, and with JR blocking tens and 10 9, JR needs to call here. Still absolutely sick bluff from rampage and happy he got it through!
@El Toro Loco my thoughts exactly….its a raggy ace x that hit a boat or Queens. You can’t call there imo.
@El Toro Loco
He played it in no way like he had JJ or QQ lol. Those hands would 3 bet preflop. He just flatted, twice. JJ and QQ would not check raise that flop nor would they triple barrel, going 2/3 pot on river when the board is double paired with a straight possible.
Jr isn’t worried about quads or boat rampage plays the hand as if he got an overpair
@Glen K No
JR mucked that one up
9:30 Nik never knows when to shut up – glad Rampage didn’t call
yup glad nikdumbo didnt get any more money
There’s medication for that
nik airball is honestly such a tell-box. No one speaks and acts like he does without value. Way too comfortable, and way too big a bet on the river. His hubris about putting on a show against rampage cost him.
He’s the worst
@Surfnsnowboard3 not how it works dummy.
Top clown 🤡
He really didn’t have that great of a hand. Off the top of my head probably the 12th nuts
@MR GAINZ that’s exactly how it works. Wtf are you talking about. You can get on the show.
Nik Airball has a knack for hitting improbable straights in bloated pots against young pros playing above their normal stakes.
Nick Knack newbie whacked
And rampage has a knack for being the worst player with the most luck. Whether it’s always getting it in wayyy behind and out flopping everyone, getting lucky with monster hands that also outflop everyone, etc etc
Lol nik airball pure dumbass lol
@B-ry rampage has his flaws but there’s no way he’s the worst player in Hustler lineups
@iambadatpickingusernames nah agreed … he’s the worst player to have ever touched cards.
Its amazing to me how Airball, looking as he does, playing with mommy and daddys checkbook , still has that ego. what an incredible tool that guy
@stacrafty I never said he’s a hedge fund manager. He works for a very small firm. No doubt he makes way more than $100K a year and is likely earning commissions or bounties on attracting extremely wealthy Chinese clients. He’s also very likely made wealthy by BTC.
As douchy as he is, he won a lot last yea on these streams
He should buy himself some hair plugs
i was wonder how get got his money at a young age. so he has family money?
He owns a chain of Xaxby’s. It’s been said before.
“this kid has all the heart” – Stakekings baby
Nik gives good action so the fact he cant shut up while saying nothing must be tolerated with a smile.
i think rampage plays great tourney style, his agro doesnt work well in live cash, especially in these deeper waters.
He sun runs alot, hey if you get lucky you get lucky but your talking about a guy who sells luck box card chips
He doesn’t play anything great. He luckboxes everything.
My favorite part is Rampage essentially telling Nik to STFU already, it’s not happening.
Dealer sees Ben’s splashy bet and says, “Bet; That much.”
I’ve never been a fan of Rampage’s cash game. I think he’s built more for tournaments. He’s always came across as a used car salesman to me with his repetitive catch phrases and over blown marketing skills. But Ben’s smug smirks all the time and condescending attitude in all these clips made me root for Rampage to fold.
As soon as someone starts talking like how Nik did you know they have something strong lmao, what a tool. I love how he kept staring at rampage like a clown
Came here to make my punt today in tournaments less meaningful…Thanks Rampage for the emotional up beat👍…
I remember when everyone use to hate on Rampage. That dude accomplished everything himself, he was just a regular dude too. Always rooting for him to win!
He needs to 5 bet that KK pre.
@The treecall is standard
@J L it’s bad. If you don’t 5 bet kk then you only 5 bet AA or have no 5 betting range both are bad.
@The tree 5bets should be polar when you’re 400bbs deep
Nik airhead is always someone I will root against.
airball talks so confidently everytime he has the nuts..
Ive always been a rampage hater. But he did own Airball in that first hand. Little bit of a punt in 2nd though… but honestly its hard to blame him vs Ben.
I’ve never got so excited for someone than when j.r. Folded, that was crazy! Let’s go rampage, you’re the man 💪🏽
Rampage is a absolute savage at the poker table finally a fellow Bostonian dominating and representing the 🌎 of poker💯
Have been watching rampage for a couple of years now and here’s my honest opinion/analysis:
1. His cash game has improved alot but there are alot of holes in it
2. In average-above average sessions where he is catching cards his game is not that predictable but also very far from a refined strategy
3. I’ve noticed, particularly on sessions where he runs hot and faces tough choices with big hands, he really lacks enough decipline
All in all I do enjoy watching him step up his limits, most will never even reach 50/100 or even play a single game of 50/100 in their life due to w.e reason but mainly because most also understand their risk tolerance. This isn’t to say that with time Ramp won’t improve enough to compete in high limit games. But from the numerous times I’ve seen him on this show I vaigly recall him up only once.
In summary I think he’s out of his league (no offense) I genuinely wish him much success. I think he’s really good on tournaments; when he runs good he usually finishes very high.
All that being said, his buddy Mariano idk who called him a mini Garret A a few months ago; but he was spot on about him. Love his game and can’t wait to keep watching him in high stakes action.
