  1. I stopped the video and read your tips to be happy, thank you for sharing it.

  2. Thanks for watching guys. I’ve already seen lots of comments for people wanting to know what app I use to track my stats. I talk about it at the end of the video and have links in the description box, but I’ll make it a little simpler and put the info here as well:
    Pokerbase: https://onelink.to/7cnykk – Use code BRAD10 for 10% off

    1. brad seen you play hands that you lose chips and wonder WTF is going on in your brain – tighten up you ain’t gonna win with all those rag hands you seem to dive head 1st into

    2. @@thomas-gw3xflmfao, says the guy who plays for play chips on zynga poker

    3. Guess I’m late to the party. Just learned about your channel last week sitting at a $1-$2 NL game. Thanks for sharing!!! Nice to meet you.

  3. To people watching poker vids and thinking about becoming a professional poker player, just think hard about this, Brad has dedicated his life to it and he makes not that much from poker directly (but doing great with YouTube). If you put the same hard work and study and apprenticeship into almost any other career you are so much more likely to find success and reliable income that grows every year.

    1. @@vawus My guess is that the fun wears off relatively fast when it’s your full time job.

    2. @vawus fun when youre a winning player, remember its mentally draining when u lose 70k like brad did in a relatively short span of time due to bad luck.

    3. For every “self-made” entrepreneur there are tons of losses and bankruptcies before they “made-it”. And some of them have “made-it” several times and not to mention those who never recovered. Remember Brad busted hard his first time going pro and had to go back to a 9 – 5. If it were easy everyone would be doing it.

    4. You’re mostly right, but this year is a pretty big outlier. You’re leaving out the part where I made half a million in the last 2.5 years from poker. The reason I haven’t done well in 2024 is because I played a low volume of very high stakes/high variance tournaments. I could play 5/10 everyday and make $100k+ without much sweat, but that’s not really what I’m interested in at the moment.

  4. “Zoom out from time to time and enjoy the view.” That’s good poker advice, and good advice in general. Thanks Brad.

  5. That was an amazing session! Loved all the action and how ur patience paid off even after getting stuck twice for no small amount!! But I have to say one of my favourite parts of this vlog was the tips to be happy screenshot u shared, it is good to know we all go through the swings and the things u write down about gratitude…. spot on!!! 👊🏽❤

  6. Brad , looking at the note u wrote to yourself somehow cheered me up a little . Recently ive also been losing and its only been down swings after downswings , was very tired and dissapointed in myself until i saw and read the note you wrote . Thank you Brad , you will always be my favourite Poker Vlogger. Bless you and your family.

    1. I was hoping it would help cheer some people. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. It made me feel better. Good luck to you.

  7. Dude thanks for posting the message to yourself. And thanks for sharing as many lows as highs. To me this is why you are a hall of fame vlogger because you do not succumb to the reality show sensationalism, documentary pessimism or marketing hyperbole that almost all entertainment ends up embracing. I don’t have the time or money to play poker at this phase in my life, but so much of your discipline, determination, and candor are applicable to so many other pursuits. Thanks for keeping the dream alive and finding ways to infuse humor even under circumstances that make it easy to get lost in the weeds. I really feel like your message to yourself could be a great meme format to use in so many endeavors. Thanks again.

  8. That bluff at 26:40 was as ballsy as it gets, well done. I truly believed it was who you found to be the weakest, with a 6 in his hand for the open ender. Well done, seriously.

  9. Thanks for posting that “tips to be happy” note Some important lessons to remember on the felt and off. I like the fact that you are willing to show us when things go pear-shaped as opposed to some other vloggers who act like variance never hits them

  10. Brad is all of us. “I’m ready to win big tonight boys!”… “I can’t walk away down, let’s work our way back to even”…”even is out of reach, but this table is too fun to walk away from” ❤ U B-rad

  11. Brad, your “Tips to be Happy” just cements in my mind what a well-grounded person you are. Always enjoy the “Precious Present.”

  12. I really liked a lot of what you had in your tips to be happy at 1:40 mark. You are a solid person, you deserve the success you’ve earned, and your dad would be proud of the person that you are. Thanks for taking the time to chat with me briefly after your first wsop event in early June. Good luck with the new card room in San Antonio.

  13. I generally despise poker vloggers, but for some reason I love your content. Humble, engaging, and of course very skilled. Loving your uploads, may your next upswing be endless!

  14. I love how Marvin gets a shout out by name in the inspirational note and no one else does. 😂😂 In all seriousness, love to see Brad giving his all each vlog. That’s the inspiration right there! 1:41

  15. Honestly that note in the beginning can be applied to almost anything. No matter if you ride a skateboard or play badminton. Its a very inspiring note for people, not only poker players to adapt to everyday life. I remember in school we had an assignment to write a note like this to ourselves and its honestly a great tip for aspiring athletes (or poker players haha) to write to yourself. Anyone reading this should really give it a go, it sure helped me at that time of my life!:)
