  1. Nice combination of bad play and bad luck by Mike. If he check-raises the turn, even a maniac like Keating can’t call with bottom pair, no draw. Check-calling the river is arguably even worse; jacks are a pure bluff-catcher at that point.

    1. โ€‹@@ianshirreffs5604 it works if your image is tight. Brad Owen would def get a fold from Alan ๐Ÿ˜‚

    2. Classic results oriented thinking. Keating was going to bluff any river and he only had 4 outs. That is not a bad play when you are going to call any river. He had him trapped but he got lucky.

  2. Flush got there, straight got there, pair on the board so potential boat out there, 2 over cards … what can pocket Js beat?

    1. Bluff, which Keating would have done if 4 didn’t come on the river.

    2. @@chrisbien4456 the exact same hand that he have. If the river was any other card but a 4, he would fire the exact same amount, only this time he will be bluffing.

    3. @@omni-kinggaming5512 That’s the point though. The 4 takes out half of his bluffs. That’s why his opponent said he was most worried about the 4. His only other bluffs were Ace of diamonds hands. 4 was the worst river that could have come, Jack was the second worst river even though it gave him a set.

    4. @@chrisbien4456 he raised on the turn with 4th pair and basically no kicker. Do you really think Keating isn’t capable of bluffing with any 2 random cards?

Unless you are suggesting his raise on the turn was a value bet.

Ps; that “worry about the 4 on the river” by his opponent was a sarcastic remark.

  3. He was worried about the 4 and there were 2 over cards from his JJ terrible play from both players
