KINGS Leading The Way to $613,914! INSANE SUN RUN TO THE FINAL TABLE! | Rampage Poker Vlog
happy frickin Tuesday ethan! banger!
do the last format of day in the life again i loved it
This is one of the best tournaments going down at the aria each year getting better.. it’s like a small WSOP main event type of feel🔥🔥
Great run!!! One of my favorite videos by you! Brutal last hand but I totally fell for it too haha.
You seem to grind better results in tournaments Ethan, looks like your heads in a better space too in tournament settings, less tilt, less trying to make constant speculative moves to get your losses back
Grind? Flip fest doesn’t seem like grinding. Pure luck
Yeah I think you’re being results oriented. Had he lost those flips he would have been out super early and no one would say that he played well. Seems like he got lucky. He even said he Sun ran so I don’t think he’s necessarily playing great it’s just he’s not being put to the test
Better results? He’s buried in tourneys
Let’s go Ethan mad run and I’m only half way through the video. Playing heaps better compared to what you were months back. Keep playing these tournaments!
Tournament vlogs are another thing! Amazing
WHOOO RAMPAGE POST
Last hand was a massive overplay.
Yup any check raise on a flush flop should sound off alarms in your head, but Rampage was playing well so I get how hard it was to fold KK
@@Jake-ne5ooits not the fact he folded, its the all in on the river that was a bad move
The time banks were nasty lol
Easy spot to bet half pot for value and fold to any raise or jam
So lose 300k and not 1.2 mil. Massive mistake
I can’t believe you fell for the time bank tank on the flush floor 💀 😂 You’re a good sport about it though
Floor ?
😂I thoight the same thing haha. At worst it was a baby flush, as soon as I heard him say all in I winced. His play and game looks a lot better overall the last couple tournaments though, glad to see him playing better poker. Everyone is gonna make a few mistakes throughout an entire tournament.
Hahaha amazing
On the last KKs hand, the opponent leads 40k bet (10%) of the pot on the turn. That should have been alarm bells.
Leads AFTER calling a check-raise too. So many alarm bells should’ve been going off.
No this is just a result oriented thinking. People need to stop with these “tells”. The 10% bet can easily be a naked Ad trying to get to a cheap river after his c/r on flop gets called.
@@NosirtI was thinking the same when he bet 40k that he wanted to get to the river with a naked A of diamonds.
Hi Rampage. You asked for my comment about the KhKd hand. I am not a pro. Back in the day (before 10/2006). I would watch nose bleed cash games on PS non-stop to try to learn something. The one thing I remember was whenever there was a flush board or a paired board, the super pros would proceed with caution. I know it sounds simple, but that was my thought when you asked for my view. GL Sir.
He didn’t ask.
Go back in the video… he did ask what did everyone think. So his opinion is valid. @PopTartLee
The last hand river shove is a 100% Grade-A pure punt. We’re basically only ever getting called by hands that beat us after villain’s line (has called a check-raise, and then leads into the check-raiser on turn with a “please raise me”-sizing, not really even a blocker bet sizing). When he put that 40k in, nearly every alarm-bell in my brain went off, and the rest went off when he flats our raise. This feels like another scenario where the guy likely knew you and your image, and played it back at you for max-punishment. KK is basically a bluff-catcher at that point. Check-back river 100%
*Small value bet is acceptable if intending on folding to raise* only thing I’d change about what you said
@@jamesgernhart1093 Occasionally maybe, but I feel with this line, villain will have very little value left in their range to target holding KK (unless they’re extremely bad or creative, they are NOT playing something like JT/J7/T7 this way). With the previous action, we’re either already crushing them (ex. AdJs) and they fold to any size bet, or are way behind (ex. flush) and we’re lighting chips on fire.
VB also opens door for villain to check-raise again and possibly blow us off value. River should just be a check-back. If we had AdAx I think there’s more value to attack since we block nut-flush, but with just Kd, the nut flush is still available to villain’s represented range. We should pot-control river with just two-pair on that board and previous-action.
@jamesgernhart1093 small value bet only opens you up to get repaired by better. Very few retailers bluffs after that runout. Hardly any value to be found here I think. Just my two cents lol
Of course u can get value by a small value bet on river. Many JX calls here. Think it`s a pretty clear bet/fold decision. I agree that shove is a 100% Punt
You should become a poker pro you are awesome
9:11 Bink, 10 on the river! 😂
good luck my ethan boy
Wouldn’t be a rampage vlog without a senseless punt 😂
Nice work 💪
