    1. Long term tom knows he will get him, he doesn’t want them to scare away these players like Phil

    2. Honestly this hand in general reminded me of old school Dwan from 2010 or so. He did the whole robotic gesture to put his chips out. And him, Patrick, and Phil used to talk like this a ton. Not to mention the other guys.
This is what makes poker a little more fun imo.

    3. Anyone see the black guy sitting next to persson scoop up the chips Tom tossed to persson to see his cards

    4. @bossssssist patrick actually threw 2 red chips 25k each for the 50k stack of cash at the same time dwan threw 2 white 1k chips for 2k to see his hand!

    1. @Chico G come on. You don’t find him amusing just a bit? I was cracking up when he mentioned Dwans sizing and how we would’ve folded

    2. Anyone see the black guy sitting next to persson scoop up the chips Tom tossed to persson to see his cards

  1. I know ppl can try to do a reverse tell but wasn’t Persson way too talkative and comfortable to be bluffing, after a huge bet?

    1. The only way to know is to watch him bluff …if he acts just as cocky then he knows what he’s doing …if not, he’s an amateur with money

    2. @Ian Boylan Thanks for the support, Ian! 🙌🙏🙌yes I’m a massive poker fan. Bass and poker! 😊 yeah it just seemed a little excessive in this hand – it’s a huge bet to feel so comfortable with anything less than trips. Agreed – Phil was major tilted in that match! Cheers man 👍

    3. Persson does the same when he’s bluffing. He’s on other recent high stakes streams doing it. He really really knows what he’s at with the talking

    4. Anyone see the black guy sitting next to persson scoop up the chips Tom tossed to persson to see his cards

    5. Did you see his match against Hellmuth? Dudes the biggest Tell Box of the Century!! 😂 🤡

  2. Definitely a Villain who is shaking up the scene. Love to see it. People laugh at this type of play but it’s effective. Especially when you get the other player to talk.

    1. Getting Tom to talk when Toms the one facing the situation is not advantageous. It’s just an opportunity for Tom to collect more info. I’m almost certain his talk here reduced chance of a call

  3. Got to love this guy. He did gave it away 10 times during his speech. But it was entertaining.

  4. Respect to Tom for having the convo with him, it’s really entertaining to see Persson put his show on!

    1. @Clark Potter With the amount of conversation given to achieve said goal you would have thought he was running a telethon

    1. That was the best thing high stakes ever did was bringing back gabe kaplin and aj benza

  5. imagine a talkative table line up with Persson , Gold , Tony G , Kassouf , Hellmuth , Negreanu , Laak , Matusow

p.s throw some Kevin Hart too! 😀 would be like 98% talking 2% poker

    1. It’s interesting how some of those people talk for information, and others talk to get under peoples skin (and Hellmuth just blows up at hands and people).

    2. Anyone see the black guy sitting next to persson scoop up the chips Tom tossed to persson to see his cards

  6. I LOVE THIS GUY! Finally i see tom dwan speak and enjoy the game lol. it’s also amazing everyone else did not say anything.

  7. I’m really starting to like Persson. The heads up against Phil was legendary. Definitely a guy I’d like to sit across the table from and have a few drinks with.

  8. i love seeing some talking and banter return to these high stakes poker tables like the glory days of holdem. half the fun is listening to these degens tilt each other.

    1. That’s why the triton games with the Asian whales are great,be better if I knew Chinese !

  9. Would love to see Persson and Tony G at the same table. Maybe going against some socially inept pros at a triton event.

  10. Never seen Durrr Dwan started talk to this guy while he’s on hands since I’ve watched him playing cards for long time. This gave me goosebumps.

  11. Really liking Persson. He’s an action player who loves table talk and isn’t afraid to play for monster stacks. Dude is great for the game. They should have him on Hustlers.

  12. The fact that Persson milked Dwan for an additional $2K at the end to show his cards, was just pure genius. Dwan was going to see it anyway when the stream came out. Might as well make an extra $2,000.00.
