  1. Phil Ivey is a great player…no debate.. all games..nl holdem Mtts it’s still Phil hellmuth

    1. Not really. There are a bunch of guys who have way more than 17 wins in nearly identical tournaments that just aren’t branded “WSOP”.

    2. Players like Stephen Chidwick or Adrian Mateos are way better than Phil Hellmuth in NLHE MTTs

    1. why evolve if he wins all? e won all heads up recently against dur dneg esandai ..

  2. Ivey doesn’t call himself the greatest his peers and contemporaries call him the greatest. Hellmuth gets that from novices and recreational players. His peers recognize him as a great player but not the greatest and that something he always wanted.

    1. It’s like what Lindsay Graham said about Donald Trump:
“He calls himself a genius because no one else will”.

  3. Ivey and jordan never call themselves the goat. Everyone around them does for them

    1. Ivey yes but Jordan has always at least strongly implied that he thinks he’s the goat haha let’s not spread misinformation

    2. @@albertzhu7528 absolute lie. Show me anywhere he said he is the goat..on the other hand LeQueen says it every other day 🤣🤣

    3. @@jimmyjam1710 literally just google “jordan calling himself the goat” and there are dozens of clips. I’m not saying Lebron doesn’t do it but Jordan has famously a massive ego

    4. @@albertzhu7528 with respect, I literally did google it, out of curiosity, and only found his very humble answer to the question, that “it’s disrespectful to call yourself GOAT” and “you can’t compare different eras”.
And another answer when he was younger, that he “would like to thing” he was the GOAT, when he retires.

I think you shouldn’t put words in his mouth. Just because he has an Ego, doesn’t mean he thinks this way.

  4. Phil’s 3 part Book Series saved me alot of Money in my early years. Those Books teach a very strong Fundamental Base for any Poker Player even today.

  5. MY GOD THAT HAIR TRANSPLANT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Just more proof of that saying, “you’re not ugly, you’re just poor”

    2. Agreed and as someone who need one id love to know where he got it and how much it was.

  6. Hellmuth makes his money in lower stakes games these days. He can wipe up a 5/10 game no problem. But when he goes up against these younger guys playing this new aged poker he just can’t hang. He’s like Tiger Woods.

    1. I highly doubt he could beat like NL200-500 zoom online tho because not enough fundamentals.

    1. That never really meant as much as the winners of those want them to mean. WSOP bracelets is really just about bragging rights. There are a bunch of players who have way more wins in nearly identical tournaments that aren’t branded “WSOP”.

    2. Ivey made 20mil playing against the toughest opponents, and Guy LaLiberte, on Full Tilt. That is just one of so many things he has done.

    3. @anka042 he probably cheated.

Every time I see Ivey play, he loses by making amateur decisions.

    4. He plays more than everybody else. I would imagine he’s pretty high on the all time non cash list as well.

  7. That moment was iconic for me. He respects your opinion and knows everyone respects your game and knowledge. It’s iconic bc kidpoker hit the nail right on the head. Absolutely right about hellmuth’s great wsop record. Poker is more than wsop.

  8. Imagine how hilarious it would be if Hellmuth was a fighting game player
