  1. Why do I always get the feeling that negreanu secretly hates Phil and Phil adores negreanu lol

    1. Did you watch their heads up match where hellmuth went off of Negreanu calling him a politician. Basically saying he’s kinds phony and 2nd aced says one thing and acts one way on camera but behind closed doors it’s a different Daniel

    2. daniel just have class
      he always the funny guy
who never really insult somebody seriously
but I don’t think daniel likes the way phil is acting on the table
      I mean who does

    3. Phil is always honest where as Negreanu is always two faced person

    4. @@El.Espartano nah dude from what I’ve seen over the 20 plus years.. ever since the original high stakes games way back in the day Negreanu has become this person.. hey I have nothing against him he’s right up there with the likes of Phil ivey and other being one of the greatest tourney of all time if not the best tourney of all time I never doubted his game.. just something about his personality over the years that just rubs me the wrong way..

    1. Phil plays math, he doesn’t gamble. In this one, he got beat by a logical hand to call his all in. He respects that play.

The blow up would have happened if his Queens were beaten by 5-2 off with a 8-5-2 flop. Nobody calls all in with 5-2 off. That type of play doesn’t make sense to him.

    2. @riffbw  the math says you can always lose preflop…. it’s only post flop or river that you can be 100% to win with the nuts. Phil likes to play all in when I can lose game.

    3. That’s because they cut off right before Phil started mouthing off at Daniel under his breath 😉

    4. @@Peter-uo9km well that’s a given. But the odds of your opponent playing weaker hands that win on the flop go way down when you make larger bets pre-flop.

Letting someone limp in gives them more chance to get lucky from a losing pre-flop position.

So I circle back, Phil doesn’t like to get beat by luck and his blow ups are usually at risky plays that pay off rather than getting beat by better cards.

    1. @@nickysheerin1869 It seems like his hairline keeps receding, but if it’s transplanted hair why is that so? Also I doubt he is taking finasteride or anything else to maintain what he still has, so unsurprisingly he would continue to go bald.

  2. The Q 10 comment was funny af… you could tell hellmuth hated that 😂😂

  3. In all these videos of Phil he always is ahead when the money goes in, but still loses somehow at the end lol

    1. Phil should learn and adapt. He didn’t have to go all in. He just can’t slow play his queens.

    2. @@Peter-uo9km sure, but he’s hoping to get a lay down and pick up little bits. You actually risk more money if you have the better hand by letting them see cards.

    3. NAW THATS POKER IN GENRAL IF YOU PLAY YOU KNOW IT AINT OVER TILL THE RIVER IF YOU MAKE EM PAY FOR IT AND THEY GET IT YOU CAN ONLY BLAME YOURSELF FOR NOT GETTING EM OUT THATS WHY I ONLY PLAY NO LIMIT

  4. Daniel is the most gracious player. Getting in Phil’s shoes and saying “You’ve still got life, Q10 is the hand you’ve hated your whote life!” (granted he’s. in the lead) is a very compassionate way to play. Tony G-a-likes could learn a thing or two.

  5. Phil never whines when ivy or Daniel knocks him out.

Phil – it was worth it 😂

    1. Because he gets beat by the best players

He gets mad when a wanna be beats him because they get lucky vs the most bracelets winner!!! Siiiiiiiuuuuuuuuu

      Now cry!!!!!! Siiiiiiiuuuuuuuuu 😎

  6. One of the best players in the world and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a short where hellmuth wins.

  7. “A queen and 10 is the hand you hated your whole life.” … and now you need one.
Daniel watches and knows everything about his play.

  8. Hellmuth always gets picked on. Almost feel sorry for him, but since he sticks around, then financially, it should be working out for him. Negreanu is always a pleasure to watch. Polite, respectful and clever.

    1. Hellmuth sticks around because he gets benefits, deals and because of his gambling addiction.. I don‘t believe he is plus overall..

    2. It’s literally only the casuals and recs that hate on him, anyone that knows anything has respect for him in some way or another. He’s won 2 bracelets over the last 3 years and consistently places high in large field mtt’s, wsop events and high roller omaha tournaments, most of the people in the comments probably don’t even know the last time hellmuth vs dnegs in heads up hellmuth won 3 out of 3 games. The whole hellmuth losing thing is basically just a meme that all the casuals get on board with

    3. @@TaipanPeteEveryone knows how much Phil wins he reminds everybody every time he loses.

  9. No one pokes Phil more than Daniel. And Daniel is the one person he won’t go off on.
