I’ve watched you from the early days. You are a good kid but you need to drop down in stakes and practice bankroll management.
You are playing at high stakes with players that are better than you. Not being a hater but it’s going to end in tears.
I agree. To be playing at a level bankroll-wise with a bankroll you don’t even HAVE yet, makes ZERO sense man. A good rule to follow that basically no poker player does is to NEVER have more than 5% of your bankroll on the table at any time. If you wanna loosen it up a little, make it 7%. That eliminates the high variance of poker and should technically tell you how good you really are over the long haul as far as increasing your bankroll. If you don’t increase it with that rule, you shouldn’t be playing poker professionally.

You have had an amazing run of experiences since starting the Vlog. Now is the time to throw yourself into studying and becoming the best you can be. It is the life you have chosen and you have stumbled. You do not have to play Million Dollar games to keep us interested, many of us love you. The people you battle regularly have become able to read you, give them a new Ethan to figure out.

I agree, as a very small stakes player (mainly cheap tournies), I would be really interested in exactly what the studying involves.
If you have to explain how StakeKings works and that you don’t often “lose it all” to them, you should not ask for their money in the same sentence.
The stakes don’t even matter to us. we watch ethan because he delivers good poker content. If you went back to Twin River to play 1/2 with the same vlog quality you have always had, people would watch just as much. It’s not embarrassing to go down in stakes. But, it is embarrassing to play stakes that aren’t safe for your bankroll, and btw there’s a word for that, it’s called gambling. Ethan has devolved into a gambler and we’re all seeing it right now. You gotta forget about the 1mil challenge and just go back to the basics man.
