  1. Notice how Daniel waits until the cards are in the muck before he says anything. I like that

    1. In a heads up situation you’re allowed to talk all you want as long as you don’t give anything away pertaining to your whole cards

    2. Lol I’m clearly talking about when Daniel is chatting about what Jager must have had. The point is that he was careful not to talk freely (non-strategically) until the dealer mucked the cards.

  2. Great way to start my day. Super interesting to hear your hand breakdowns. Glad more are coming. Thanks 😁

    1. @@dnegspoker I love you Daniel! You’ve been my favorite player for a long time now. Your small ball strategy book was what got me into playing poker when I was probably like 14-15 when I read that book and now your videos help me a lot too. Wish there was a way I could ask you about certain hands or pay you to be my coach! I’m sure you’re way too busy for that though and would have a lot of people lined up. Anyway thank you!

    2. @Daniel Negreanu Besides Ivey, who would you say is the most skilled player in poker?

    3. My vote goes to Phil Galfond for clarity and ease of listening but I’m placing Daniel at #2. Dnegs has certainly been the top ambassador since ever at this point.

    4. @@dnegspoker You go on a swindlers show and now you want to call out Ali 😮😮😮

  3. I recall Mike Sexton saying very plainly never talk to Daniel Negreanu during a hand. That table talk Eric Perrson can only dream of.

  4. I look forward to these videos as much as I look forward to watching the Last of Us lol. Crazy how good your content is, hope the channel keeps growing

  5. Wow Utube is getting so good lately with pros from poker to skateboarding ext starting there own channels and really getting personal and talking about what they do and why they do it. It’s really cool hearing professionals talk in detail about how they make certain decisions and the whole thought process. I love Daniel, this channel is so awesome!

    1. which skate channel you talking about? cause i love daniels content to death and i skate haha

  6. Very interesting outcome. While it is never easy for a player to analyze his hand and outcome, its great that Daniel is willing to walk thru this. Thanks DNegs.

  7. This really reminds me of Daniel’s analysis of Scotty Nyugen’s speech play in the final hand of the 98 WSOP main event. Nyugen had gotten down to heads up with what I believe was an amateur named Kevin McBride. Nyugen could tell that the pressure had really been grinding on McBride, it was obvious he wasn’t having a good time, and didn’t want to play anymore. Scotty recognized this, shoved with some thick value hand, and said “if you call it’s all over baby” to tempt the guy into calling for his emotional desire not to play anymore. McBride called off the rest of his stack playing the board. This is pretty much the opposite spot, but still the same type of emotional psychological analysis of the opponent’s desire to play on.

  8. “…you must have a hand…”, then shoves the river = insta fold for me. In the second hand, right before the 4-bet (17:00), you get really theatrical-almost comedic when you quickly dart your eyes toward both stacks. Who am I, but from you, to me that screams confidence. I’m folding anything that I wouldn’t 5-bet with…

  9. Hey Daniel, I never really played cash until this year and I never really realized how much information I’ve learned from this content, you put out and even though I may post my videos, a little rough and tough. I definitely appreciate the information you gave out through the years, so thank you my friend and I hope we both can play in the World Series together. #Dabluffbaby.

    1. Do not fall for the scam from WhatApp. This person is not Daniel Negreanu.

  10. I did hybrid poker for a month and it was the most intuitive, user friendly software I have used. That being said, at the moment (as of March 1 2023) they only have one stack size (100BB) and only have 6 max games

  11. Loving the play style. I’m a big proponent of limping and seeing as many flops as possible.

  12. I really like the 3 Straight speech. It. Not only is he saying 300k but gives the sense there’s a straight out there and almost a warning but seems like a slipping word.
