  1. Daniel is always so generous with his time and knowledge. A natural teacher who’s passionate about the craft.

    1. Not to mention…… his ability to remain relevant in the world of poker. One of the few pros out there that made his money from poker. Most do not

    2. I love the game and truly enjoy seeing people have huge learnings on ways to fix some leaks

    3. @@dnegspoker I’m a stupid poker player, but I understand you. Thanks for teaching stupid people. lol

  2. Hey Daniel, you’ve knocked this breakdown video out of the park! I’d say you definitely got great value out of top set. However, of course, your hand wasn’t the nuts because of the 48 total combos that have you beat on that board. It was crazy to think at first, why not raise with the Queen on the river. But your explanation of value betting and what calls a specific raise certainly helped clear things up for me. And of course, you got blockers!

Also, your previous breakdown video on spot bluffing and chip defense was super helpful. Having the confidence to bluff in certain spots and range bullying is a particular skill that I am currently working on. I’m going to use these strategies you have explained to help myself in future tournaments, both local and the WSOP this summer. Thanks man!

  3. This hand is a great example of why me and most other poker players are never going to get close to your level of play.
You gave clear insight into a great amount of depth of strategy and background study to get to this hand in this spot. Even beyond your normally high standards. Thank you for sharing Daniel.

  4. This series, after every episode, I say to myself… THAT was the best one yet, and then along comes another one and now I have to say, again, THAT was the best one yet. Loving them all, thanks so much for your time young man.

  5. I don’t want this “how to win 3 mill in 3 days” serie to end 😢 love it so much! Daniel is such a great teacher!

    1. Only one solution: Daniel just has to win big again so we can get season 2.

  6. It feels good to get the logic behind those decisions right. Instead of just dumping the knowledge, I thank you for asking those questions and giving us the time to think about them!

  7. The explanation of why Daniel didn’t raise at the end of the hand was so concise and made a lot of sense to me, so I really appreciated how he logically explained why there wasn’t value in raising against 48 possible hands that beat him, as any weak hands would fold anyways so there would be almost no value to be gained. I appreciate how he can explain things in a broken down way so I can follow along with his reasoning.

  8. Thank you, Daniel, for sharing your knowledge with us. Haven’t played poker in a really long time, but your passionate approach to the game and creative delivery brought me back to it. Keep up the great work.

  9. I swear these videos have done as much for my game lately as any other resource — he really has a gift at making the complex accessible. And @daniel’s wife don’t worry, none of us are ever going to replicate his speed and accuracy. 10/10, as always

  10. I signed up to MasterClass a couple of years solely for Daniel’s series – and it was superb. And this content is incremental and just as insightful 🙏🏻

  11. Absolutely true. Gonna put yourself a sick spot a decent amount of the time raising there

  12. Daniel u cant believe how much i have learned from these episodes. We can’t thank u enough for this. Don’t listen 2 ur wife u can share everything you know😂. Bless u and ur family❤

  13. Daniel the knowledge I’m learning from you I took to a local Tournament yesterday and took first place out of 43 people $100 buy-in……….YOUR THE REAL GOAT

  14. Such a great video, merci beaucoup Daniel. This series is so inspiring to get into live tournament more.

  15. Makes total sense every step of the way. I’ve seen a few of these now and it seems evident that Daniel really did play pretty much a perfect tournament. It’s one thing to understand the theory, but to be mentally present every moment over an extended length of play would exhaust a lot of people and they’d get sloppy. The top players don’t just have smarts, they also have mental stamina.

  16. Amazing! Always love the breakdowns and appreciate your thought process. 👏

  17. This video, and the discussion about the River check-call, is excellent.
