  1. It would be really nice if you didn’t spoil the ending in the title…

    1. I mean, if you are a poker follower you knew this days ago. Pokergo(this channel) even broadcast the final table live for free. I get spoilers, however this is not new news if you truly follow poker.

    2. They showed the actual final table live on you tube already. This is a highlights video.

    3. @@hencole Yes but YouTube recommends it and they can’t avoid seeing it. The only way to avoid seeing it is to block the channel.

The live streams often run late Eastern time and it’s middle of the night Euro time. People may want to watch later (say the weekend), so having a video titled ‘Phil Hellmuth falls short’ so soon after the event is bound to spoil it for a lot of people.

The original commenter wasn’t complaining that the video exists but that the title gives it away. There are several thumbnails and titles to use that don’t give it away so that someone getting on youtube can see the recommendation without knowing the outcome.

PokerGo has been notoriously bad about this with spoilery titles and thumbnails. I was convinced that it’s by design a while ago to make people feel like they have to subscribe and watch in the moment to ensure they don’t get spoiled. As you say this is a highlights video. So…..why not just title it ‘Hellmuth highlights in Mixed Omaha Final Table’. Avoiding putting spoiler titles on things is a known courtesy on Youtube since the beginning. It’s by design.

  2. Now do a segment on DNeg’s failures lol. As a watcher of his daily WSOP vlogs it’s been one failure after another. At least Hellmuth has made a final table.

    1. @@PokerGOoh maybe because there is a contract between Daniel and Pocer Go and Daniel always a genuis (with a loss of 2,5 mln for the last 15 months and Helmuth always a fish :))))))) money… it is all about money…

  3. Im pretty sure Hellmuth will win his 18th before either DNegs wins his 7th or Ivey wins his 12th. The poker brat aint done yet, not by a mile.

  4. year after year he is still able to make like 5 final tables or more every wsop

  5. Where were these videos for the 10 years of final table Ls for ivey?
Where were these videos for the 11 years of final table Ls for negreanu?

  6. Quite confident I will refuse to play this format till the end of time lol.

  7. This video having “Failed” in the title is a shameful ploy for hate clicks and really beneath you guys. PH, love him or hate him, is inarguably one of the greatest players in WSOP history. Full stop. I don’t even care to watch him because of his ego but to call him a failure AFTER he makes another final table is ridiculous.

  8. Since the Mickey Mouse era of poker in the 90s and 2000s.. Phil has 6 bracelets in 18 years with only TWO being NL despite over 400 bracelet events per year… he is not the GOAT he is genuinely horrible at this game and if you have played with him recently you would know that

  9. He poured ketchup on one spot and then bit into it sideways. He isn’t human.

  10. It’s not easy maintaining professional as a commentator when Phil Hellmuth is playing.

  11. Phil Hellmuth was winning bracelets before the deluge of bracelet events.

  12. How much is his net loss every WSOP? Too bad Hendon doesn’t show these numbers.
