  3. I love the idea of Daniel’s wife sitting just off camera, giving him a stern look every time he’s about to reveal a secret

    1. I love Daniel’s wife, period. If she could clone herself id gladly be that clones Danny.

    2. @404 not found I think it’s more just of a running joke rather than him “hiding behind his wife”

    3. @404 not found they’re still fairly recently married i imagine he’ll stop bringing her up as an excuse for it as much in a few years if that makes you feel any better

  4. So Great to see an Insight into how you Play these Hands. Also in the Simplest Language possible which makes it very easy to understand. Really Helpful and Appreciate these Videos so much.

  5. The great thing about playing hybrid against GTO players is that you can do things that get them totally off their game when you do something they don’t expect.

  6. You have been my fav poker player ever since I watched you blow Phil Helmuth’s mind in a heads-up tournament by guessing his cards 😂😂 EPIC

  7. What a sick strategy. I love the idea of using the solver to study weird positions that are not “supposed” to happen. Very cool way of re-introducing exploitative play back into the game (I guess it really never left). And awesome to see one of our favorite players from the golden age of poker staying on the cutting edge. I always liked Daniel, he always seemed like a nice, relatable dude with a kind heart.

  8. Much love Daniel. Fave poker player. Gentlemen at the table but with a respectable snarky attitude…more players should have your kind of sportsmanship…take care and ty for the upload.

  10. I feel if I ever raised 4.5x pre-flop I would get ridiculed by other players for making an egregious raise. Then come showdown I embarrassingly flip over 53. Would have to say “I’m mixing it up” or “Just trying to play tricky”

  13. Dan, I’d love to see more hands, and hear your thinking, where you’ve made a bad call and lost a hand…that you possibly could have won.
Trips on the flop are a pretty easy hand to play…especially when the flop is a rainbow.

  14. I gotta say, I love the way the white hoody fits on Dnegs. It doesn’t sit flat. It sits up and surrounds his neck- hiding any possible heart rate reads on his jugular heheh

  15. I been watching a lot of these. How would he know (or at least have a feeling) that he wasn’t beat with a better full house? How could Daniel eliminate pocket 9s and pocket jacks from his range? I know he had a big raise pre-flop but not certain those hands would have folded. Anyone know the logic? Thank you

    1. I’m thinking out loud, and it seems like there are more hands that beat him that would call a jam on the river, than are worse than him that would call (if that makes sense). Really expected him just to call there.

  16. This is my favorite of Daniel’s videos. I love the fact that is analysis is so in depth def my favorite type of videos!
