  1. The Garrett vs WesSide dichotomy is SO incredible to watch as a fan of these high stakes games! I swear 90% of fans, including myself, see a Wesley and Garrett thumbnail for a stream… *I click immediately!* 🤣🤣🤣

  2. imagine if the 80,000 was called down by quads and wes says its overplayed!

  3. Garrett is in his A game zone, sense any weakness Wesley shows especially on the turn when Wesley just check-call, and river check again, only JJ or 88 play that way to trap Garrett, but Wesley check-raised Garrett on the flop, so JJ or 88 won’t play that way, so, easy read Wesley’s hand is either weak or capped like TT,99 or QQ etc., so Garrett is able to overbet on the river according to the information he gathered to make Wesley to fold his capped hand ranges. Wesley’s line is so confused and he is not telling a consistent story since the turn action, that is his leak, he is way too amateur playing this hand and that is why he is be outplayed by Gman.

    1. he check too quick, and i dont like the check raise by wesley he doesnt represent quads that way

    2. Yap, that’s my feeling too. I think he should bet the turn with that c/r on the flop. He can have some JX in his range.

    3. @Ariton Alex would it make any difference if he check raise the turn? I felt like wesley thought that he is trapping himself with the check raise on the flop then decided to check (call the turn.)

    4. @calmdown fellaz There was a hand about 2 months back where someone check raised Garret on the flop and the turn. Very strange line and Garret folded. So based on a prior hand I saw, Wesley check raising the turn again may have done something… But every hand is different so maybe in this situation Garret continues idk

  4. WesSide’s been playing for what? 7 months? He’s already got the tingle–like something’s up.

  5. That’s why he always makes sure he has the most chips so he can bluff like that other players are scared to lose money he’s not

    1. it also lets him get sticky with his backdoors and aggressive with suited aces and suited connectors pre flop against the recs. plenty of other reasons as well, but yes, he bombs the river. even bombed the turn here. garret’s one of the best in the world at a game like this. i wouldn’t say there’s a player at these tables most nights who cannot afford to lose his stack. most of these guys have a ton of money and play higher stakes elsewhere. some of the young guys are probably worried about overall dollar amounts but it certainly isn’t wesley. he’s probably the richest guy at the whole casino.

    2. I get what you’re saying but in this case it isn’t true, Wesley is very rich. Unfortunately from crypto

    3. That’s not how it works. Garret has the most chips so he always gets paid max value with big hands. From the perspective of you as an opponent, it should not matter if Garret has more chips than you. If it does, you’re playing at the wrong table. Try a cheaper one.

    4. @CribNotes It seems to matter to Garrett since he always needs to cover everyone at the table.

    5. @MrElephantBeach I just told you. The biggest advantage of having the largest stack at the table is you always get paid the max possible when you hit a big hand. You as a player against Garrett, are only liable for your stack, not his stack.

If I was playing against Garrett, his stack size wouldn’t change my game much at all. Wesley effed up this hand by not betting the turn after raising the flop.

    1. if it was an overplay, it’s definitely not from wesley’s perspective since garret didn’t show him the bluff and wesley folded. So wesley must have thought garret has a better hand. And if garrett had a better hand, then it wasn’t an overplay (from wesley’s perspective at least). Since he got max value over his Ace high flush draw.

    2. That was an objectively bad play even though this time he won. Wesley knew it without having to see the cards and only folded because he had no hand. If he had any pair or better he would probably have called. Garret won this instance but he’s losing money if he keeps that up

    3. @Tyler He had ace high. that actually wasn’t a bad hand against a bluff. Obviously, wesley thought that even though garrett maybe bluffing, he actually had a better hand. It’s why he folded. Again, in which case, my point stands. If garret had a better hand (in wesley’s perspective) it wasn’t an overplay and he actually got max value. We have a different perspective coz we can see the cards.

  6. Where are all the people crying all the time about Garret running so good at??

  7. Don’t try this at your local 1/3 game. You are gonna get snapped before the dealer will announce your bet lol

  8. Garrett has a tell when he bets big or check-raises. If he has the goods, he constantly sneaks a peek at his opponent by shifting his eyes back and forth between looking at his opponent and looking straight down. But when he is bluffing, he only stares straight down. He does not look over at his opponent.
