  3. Tilly is clearly a poker player in her own right, has a WSOP bracelet and has regularly been in notable poker tournaments and videos for a few decades now, title makes it sound like a celebrity invitational.

    1. yeah, but it was a bracelet in girls only poker. doesn’t really count

Nah I actually agree, probably shouldn’t count in the same way as other bracelets when it excludes so much competition, and it’s not even an athletic game obviously so there should be no reason for it. It’s basically saying women are dumber at card games, ironically.

But hey, it exists, it still isn’t nothing to win any poker tournament, and other female poker players who win it are recognized as legit players.

She defeated 600 other players and won 158 times the buy-in. Credit where credit is due.

    4. @@MrOP-jw1zp I know what they mean though, any poker tournament is an achievement but if the bracelet is considered the highest honour, it shouldn’t exclude 95% of poker players.

I agree that not all bracelets are the same. It’s also okay if one values them differently depending on the tournament. If one tries to entirely discredit an event with 600 players tho when there are other far smaller bracelet events and of less significance, it becomes bs. You can criticize tournaments for excluding certain groups of people while still giving the winners the respect they are due.

On a side note, the fact that women only make up 5% of the player population is the exact reason why there are exclusive events.

  4. Tilly: “I didnt think you had a back door flush draw”
Also Tilly: Calling 70k with 2 As on the board.

She 100% thought he made his flush on the river.

    1. Maybe she was hoping he would slow down as she had showdown value after she’d called such a large sizing.

    1. Go and watch bullets over broadway. One of the finest comedies of all time with a superstar performance from Tilly. Then watch Bound.

  5. Stanley Tang talks with an Americanized white sounding voice, and doesn’t have a foreign Asian accent.

  6. not sure what the reasoning is calling turn there to fold to half pot on river

    1. Cause of money? The river bet is so much more money than the turn. Sometimes u call turn hoping villain give up river, if they fire again than you have to fold sometimes ur better hand.

  7. Played in a tourney at Mandalay Bay around 2019 with Jennifer, Unabomber and norm Macdonald at my table. Coolest night ever

  8. it’s kinda crazy how nobody’s talking about the forbidden ebook called gambler manifesto 101

  9. The fact that nobody talks about strategies from the banned book called Gambler Manifesto 101 speaks volumes about how people are stuck in a trance

    1. I actually read it in the ebook format and it is a complete game-changer

  10. These are some of the weakest tables ever
Why are they even streaming this donk show

  11. Think I would’ve checked the turn as Jennifer here with QQ. Opponent could easily have an ace, pot control. Queens turn into a bluff catcher if opponent bets river and that’s a much easier than can calling check raise in the turn then overbet bluff river. Unlucky though great bluff
