    1. Exactly what I thought. I think his reasoning is that if he were to bet 35k then the raise would be like 120k or something. Other than that he is looking to get called by like an Ace 8 or something weak

  1. Robl isn’t as popular as the Iveys and DNegs of the world, but he gotta be one of the best cash players of all time

    1. Was looking for this comment. Robl’s never had superstar looks or a superstar TV personality but he has a superstar game.

    2. Correct, he’s the best high stakes cash player this generation. If I had to have one guy go play for me, he’s the guy.

    1. That makes it more likely for a straight to be dealt since the jacks are gone and less chance for a pair.

  2. I can’t believe Robl still plays pocket 9’s after what happened to him against Toby Lewis. After this, I’d auto fold pocket 9’s for the rest of my life.

    1. You know every time he’s sees them, he instantly gets a flash of PTSD. If he’s seen the video, I can only imagine he sees Timo’s face as soon as he sees the 9’s

    2. @@sander5457 if you can’t tell that they were very clearly exaggerating the idea, then we definitely know you can’t handle table talk. Fish don’t need to be calling other people fish.

    3. Lol, and the guy in the beginning complaining about his over pairs getting cracked has no idea what Robl has been through 🤣

    1. Hair loss aged him bad! All that money he better do like dnegs and get hair fixed

  3. Robl pulled the vintage DNegs… you have AJ, I call. 🤣😂. What a station.

  4. how in the world was he able to narrow it down to AJ? It was his only guess too, impressive

    1. Because a King, any two pair or a set before the river would have just called. KJ, QJ would have bet the turn. So really the range is AJ, JTs or bluff. Theres 16 combos of AJ and only 3 combos of JTs left.

    2. Re raise preflop means he probably has AJ, AQ or AK, plus high pairs . No turn bet kind of eliminated Kx , pocket 10s or club draw from his range. Most pairs just call the river bet unless its a set but since robl has a set too its unlikely hes raising with smaller set. Pretty much narrows it down to AJ or a bluff

  5. What’s the point of predicting the player’s cards and not acting on it?
Is it to soften the blow when he gets beat and other players go wow, he knew his cards!
I’m not a player as you can probably guess

  6. Robl is a truly sick cash game player. He has a near sociopath personality, which has never really helped his marketability. The man is quite simply as real deal as it gets in the world of high stakes poker. He is just an awkward dude that’s all. There is an authentic love of the game, fearlessness, exploitative game style he possesses. He is most likely very lacking in social skills, and just comes across different. Dwan was that way and has grown out of it quite a bit, Robl has not.
