    1. Let me explain. So on the turn (the 4th card placed by the dealer) Martin gets a straight: 8 through to the Queen. Jimmy D has 2 pair, Queens and Eights. Therefore, the only way Martin can can lose is ifJimmy makes a full house by getting another Queen or Eight. Since there are already two eights and two Queens in play, there are only two eights and two queens left in the deck (these are the only cards he can get to win). Therefore his chances are very low. They play the river (last card twice here) to give Jimmy D a higher chance of winning because he is a serious underdog. The fact that one of the four cards Jimmy needed to win actually came, it was very unlucky for Martin and a “sick” river.

    2. @@rhysjaeger5551 yes I understand, I just didn’t understand why in the last letter they pulled another one

    3. @@dopaminecup-9166 that comes down to running it twice. Where they play the river card two times so that the underdog has more chance of making some money back

    4. @@dopaminecup-9166″running twice” available only on cash games btw, and both/all players still included in the hand must agree for it.

  1. “No way is that real” – Christ who are these commentators – they need to play Omaha. Happens all day everyday a million times. Just because you dont fill up your houses don’t mean it don’t happen.

    1. Obviously you couldn’t put 2+2 together, Kmart had been running awful this whole game getting 1-2-3 outed and he finally got a break and ended up chopping

    2. What he said. ⬆️
But context aside, this isn’t Omaha. You may as well be saying “You should play darts. You can be up 179 points and your opponent hits 3 trip 20s.

  2. Jimmy D is the best thing to happen to poker since……since ever.
Gonna be really sad to hear about his untimely death.

  3. How did Jimmy still win on the second run? Didn’t Martin get a Flush?

  4. I’m p sure the graphic doesnt change the % lines for the second run but idk

    1. Well it’s true. In poker you rarely gamble. You try to make the best possible decision with the information you have

  5. Chases a gutter and then is surprised that a suck out is possible. Poker players at their finest
