  1. HCL is not what it used to be, so much production value goes to waste on lackluster games. They’ve never heard that you need to change to survive. I miss the old days, big money, big pots, action city with fun characters.

    1. “change to survive!”
      “I miss the old days”

You do realize this is contradictory, right?

    2. You do realize it’s not right, just because I miss the old days doesn’t mean they have to go back to them, it just means they should try to be entertaining in some way again. They can change, improve, and still have the same aspects that make them great, but currently they do not.

    3. You’ve literally described a change as well. They pump out games and content every single day. There’s no way you can continuously put the same players up with huge money every time. The pots are also dependent on the players and their styles rather than HCL itself.

    4. Pumping out games and content every day is not what makes a good show lmao. HCL used to be a fun event to watch. If day after day it’s just boring clips of boring play with maybe a few interesting hands then they’re doing a disservice to their brand in my opinion.

    1. i mean if you cut out tanking on high stakes poker there wouldnt be much of a show lmfao these people love to throw away money

  2. Would be interesting to see Dan against AirButterBall, Mariana, and Ramnuts!

  3. Introduce time chips or something, this is insanely slow. Yes I know these are big pots but if I was playing a stakes where I took 2 minutes for every decision, I would probably just assume the stakes are too high for me and Im stressing too much.

    1. They used to have time bank chips but the players must’ve voted/decided against them.

  4. dan plays like how i play i will go all in with top pair top kicker

  5. Ray Charles: Clever hair style from guy in blue Nike sweatshirt. Can hardly notice his hair is thinning

  6. I don’t get the all in call for Henry !! What he think the villain would shove with ? Only if he thought AQ ,JJ,1010 or AJ

    1. It’s close simply because the guy is so damn bluffy. Have to defend against him at a higher frequency.

  7. This is how insane play can get you paid. After the massive punt early people (Read, Henry) thought he only had bluffs on that turn, every Ax flushdraw.
Punted what, 22k and went up to 140? Not a bad night.

  8. After the millions games and the high stakes games 1K/2K, I struggle to find intersting the “small” pots less then 100k…

  9. You know that one guy with the purple sweater isn’t folding with that hair, he ain’t letting nothing go

  10. I don’t think I’ve seen Dylan the nit 4 bet in his entire life unless it was AA KK or AKs

  11. A perfect example of how an extremely aggressive player can get paid based on initial table image…
