  1. Mariano was shook, love to see good people get rewarded! Congratulations!

    1. I could tell that too. You could see he was kinda shaking. He gave airball a free $10k even during.

  2. Mariano just won the hand every poker player dreams of. What a scenario. Basically had them almost dead preflop in a 3/4 Mill pot. Unreal. And to think he was just playing 1/3 only a couple years ago.

    1. You know the rules. That’s kinda sus. More than two in a hand keep it zipped.

    2. I was in this scenario but someone had pocket 3s preflop and called. 3 came on the river😂.

    3. When I first started playing in 2007 at a home game… I got it allin with AA vs QQ vs AQ… probably the only time I have ever felt somewhat comfortable with a 3 way preflop allin, but still nothing compared to Mariano’s hand where the guys with KK are both like 1-2% for half a milly. Sheeeeeiiiitttt…

  3. Hey guys, Mariano here. During this hand, I told Double M that I had Aces while Yang was left to act. I was just trying to be friendly by letting him know that I had the nuts. Was it a good decision on my part? Probably not. (Being semi-drunk and full of adrenaline didn’t help) But I wasn’t trying to angle or anything like that… anyways, I’ll keep my mouth shut next time I get AA vs KK vs KK (never)

    1. whatever you say but it is still a super bad etiquette to the third player, no matter the result

    2. what if you had queens and told double M that you will instantly fold?
super lousy and it is an angle for sure

    3. Lol, it’s not an angle when you tell the truth about having AA preflop… the only potential angle about it would be if there was an unknown financial setup where you didn’t want that Specific Other Player in the pot.

  4. Maybe one day I will know what it feels like to win a half of million dollars in a single hand. Until then I will live my dreams through these guys. Congrats Mariano.

    1. @Jae Koh lmao, well to make this as short as possible, I’m currently setting my self up to have more free time, I’m building passive income and a poker bankroll at the same time, I’ve investing in many things, So yes it’s possible that I will play some high stakes poker one day. It the mean time I’m focused on my current endeavors.

    2. @Mayan Aztec Right up to the hand where AA vs KK vs KK was dealt. You can see Mario being active getting up and out of his seat to lend Dario $40k in chips, then connects with the floor person to sign over his marker he took out and giving his ID. That floor person holding his ID and white paper seems to me is a marker Mario took out.

    3. @Rug Pull so I guess I’m wondering if Mariano had not lend Dario that money would Dario had been dealt out ? Was Dario dealt in because of Mariano’s action ? If so that’s crazy insane man, I don’t believe in karma, superstition, fate or any supernatural thing. But it seems like everything lined up for him to win that 500k if that’s how the events happened.

  5. Knowing you are gonna get half million without even seen the board!!
Don’t know how much is luck or skill in poker anymore, but Mariano you just had the purest luck for a lifetime. Congrats

    1. I’ve seen AA vs AA and one of the hands rivered a flush. That’s a real luckbox situation

  6. Crazy hand! Side note: it has to be a little tough playing high stakes poker on a table where the primary language (English) is one you don’t know! Yang has some guts. I know that would probably intimidate me, especially if I were playing for stakes that were high for me.

  7. You tipped the dealer as soon as the second flop came out. Pure gold. Respect

    1. @Carlos Gustavo yeah, as hard as it is, when one guy goes all-in for 250k and a guy behind you still with even more $ can call, that’s a pretty straight forward fold.

    2. @Carlos Gustavo She was a total pro. She said enough to calm the situation without spoiling the game and keeping it fair.

    3. @L S1k sounds less but its „ok“ he also can make it 5k i think but 1k its ok.

    4. @Simon apparently she said that the graphics people thought he said “this is crazy” so she repeated what she was told

  8. What a crazy spot for Mariano. Very happy for this guy, came from humble beginnings. Don’t spend it all in one place, big G!

  9. The main thing I didn’t like is that the dealer misquoted what was said, if you said it on the table you can repeat it to everyone. Same like home games I’ve played where they enact the show one show all rule so players can’t just share their card details to certain other players.

    1. He said it after the fact to Double M after he had made his all in. He wasn’t saying it to him to induce a call or fold out of anyone. Just letting him know he went all-in against Aces and prepare for it.

    2. Lauren knew that Mariano telling MM he had AA could only change the action negatively in Mariano’s favor but she didn’t want to risk Yang knowing Mariano’s hand which would I turn cause him to fold. Mariano talking let to only a potential of him not getting a call.

    3. That’s ridiculous. You can’t force a player to reveal their hand to a player who hasn’t acted. He whispered to MM that he had aces after MM was already all in. Saying he should repeat that to the table while the guy with kings is still making a decision is just dumb. That’s not even any kind of poker rule that what you say to one player must be said to all.

  10. Mariano is officially the biggest luck box of all time 😂 also a great player, btw❤

    1. Nah, Rampage is. He got lucky that night he stacked Nik. If Nik would have called his bluff with A8 it would have changed the series of events that night. Even on this night’s game. That bluff against Han for $35k on the blank river was too aggressive. Han was just scared which he folded the best hand and then went on tilt mode and dumped. Same thing that happened to Airball.

    2. @Carlos Gustavorampage was at least getting out in difficult spots. Calling down with A high against Nik. Mariano is constantly in spots where hands are just playing themselves 🤷‍♂️

    3. @Kvic901 I take it you have never watched Mariano’s videos, this couldn’t be further from the truth.

  11. “That was a hand” – Double M march 2023
Seriously, double M took that so calmly. Imagine if this happened to hellmuth. You’d never stop hearing about it.
This adds to why i think double M is one of the coolest guy in HCL stream. Him and keating.
Yang didn’t took it as well as double M. Specially coz he thought he was angled.

    1. I dont think you can be too mad being involved in one of craziest hands ever.

  12. My favorite part of the video is how completely stunned mariano is for a good 10 minutes after this, barely even celebrating just processing it all 😂

  13. Well deserved! Been watching you and your game has improved so much, and also a little bit a luck at the right time but none the less congrats!

  14. Dario is such an awesome edition to the game. What a nice guy. Great energy. His reaction of genuine happiness for Mariano is so endearing. Dario was so stoked to be there and I will be rooting for him from here on out.

    1. Me too. You love to see the genuine happiness. Really translates through the screen! Count another fan in me.

  15. Absolutely gut wrenching amazingly beautiful hand I just witnessed. As a beginner I got my biggest pot win in one hand the other night and the feeling was so surreal. Obviously, I don’t know the feeling with this amount of money but it took me like 15 minutes to organize my chips. This was amazingly beautiful to witness! Congrats man. That’s Poker.

  16. That flat call from Mariano after Yang’s 5 bet was the best move he could have done lol forcing Double M to ship, and eventually Yang to ship 😂

  17. The more I watch live poker, the more I realize while skills are important, luck is the key determinant – Rampage and Mariano
