I know this is aiqball making this play, but jamming with Ak off for 500BB effective, is super slim. I mean aiqball usually gives alot of info about his hand the longer you let him talk, or not talk is big as well, and you still have a guy behind that just cold 4bet. I feel like this is a hand can fold pretty safely here and not lose much if any equity. Your 25-30% equity at best in this spot. Ripping it allin especially with position on aiqball feels like you jusy dont want to have to think any more. When is iqball 5betting pf with nothing this large?? I bet not often at all especially vs 2 players. Yeah, this is just a fold. The more i talk it, its a clear fold. Your not even that committed at this point.
I think it was 200bb deep? 1600 straddle I believe? Its the positions that caused this, still a bit slim though I agree.
@glennhagstedt I fold this spot 90% the time live, because most people won’t even 5 bet AK QQ. Hell some don’t 5 bet KK. But no, preflop is all about math IF you know the range of your opponent. I can’t stress it enough. You would have an argument if you are Andy if you perceive airball adjusts his range against you or handz in particular.
But there’s no ‘maybe not math wise’ on preflop. The moment you deviate from math you leak EV for maybe less volatility. And that should only happen if you are playing the wrong game for your bankroll. Again, 40% equity against airball’s value range only. That’s a slam dunk shove if we assume airball has no bluffs at all which is obviously not true. If you include even 10 combos of bluffs it’s not even close.

@Creo Kei trust me, I’m not jamming there. The only possible hand that’s 5 betting from $35k to $92k that you cam possibly get to fold is QQ which you’re still behind.
The other 2 hands are AA and KK which one is less than 3% to fold and the other is 0%.
I’m not jamming there. It’s an easy fold for me but I’m nowhere near Andy’s level.
Honestly, I don’t think he thought past Goofball’s image and jammed there.
Then he got lucky which I despise bad play getting bailed out.
I may sound contradictory from my earlier comment but after further review there’s no sensible hand that he’s ahead of when Airball went to $92k.
@Not Allowed- QQ can and will often fold to a jam there because the 6 bet shove can only really be Kings or Aces considering all the action beforehand. Even knowing you’re up against AK, you have to call with QQ but you’re not loving the situation either from a variance perspective.
