Without some sort of incredible live read we i don’t think we can fold top two on a blank river when double flush draw turn was checkraised by one of the most aggressive and creative players at the table. Seems like a case of overthinking this one. You could also have jammed turn for equity denial since his turn XRs will come from pair+flushdraw/straight draw hands sometimes.

As a former business man and effectively a CFO I have always had a “Rainy day Fund” a reserve available to insure that the business will survive most unforeseen problems. I see several poker bloggers like Mr Negreanu who I believe are smart enough people to have a reserve and wonder what percentage of their net worth they have in reserve. I also know for a fact that the way the cards fall is purely luck but do believe that some players are skillful enough to make the up difference between a successful player and one who is not successful- one of them is obviously Mr Negreanu
